Why I limit my clients numbers

In a world of mass produced products I tend to work a little differently and I thought today I’d explain why I only take on a limited number of clients.

While my photography does go on to create products- be it individual portraits, framed pieces or albums; I never want the concept of mass production to be associated with the boutique studio that I have created.

Each piece of work I create is bespoke to my client and has evolved from our communication and the ability to spend time in each others presence to capture a part of their identity that is unique to them.

To make sure my client gets that attention I will only ever book in ONE client a week.

That means my mind and focus is solely on you and your session and not elsewhere during our time together. I’m not rushed or trying to get you out of the studio and the next person in within a time frame.

I want to build confidence and to let you enjoy the process and be part of the day in a way that isn’t restrictive or controlled. I want your experience to feel personal.

By limiting my calendar, I can give you the best version of me.

After all, the goal isn’t just pretty pictures. It’s pictures that stir up emotional joy or creations that allow you to accept the freedom that you’re presented with.

But also, I’m empathic by nature. I can carry the emotions of my client and help them through the process when they truly believe they can’t do it. I understand the limiting beliefs we have about ourselves and I’m there to support you all the way.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to emotionally give my everything to multiple sessions a week as I do need to be able to release those emotions to best be able to work with subsequent clients.
