Is this project just for women?

The work I have previously done means I typically have a female client base. That doesn’t mean I only work with women, I can and do work with everyone. I think every person has a story to tell, so this project is open to all people and also for children whose parents feel they would benefit from being part of this project.

Is this project just about the visuals of a person?

As a photographer, the visuals of a person are what interest me. However, this project is bigger than just what you look like. For some people their appearance is the predominant aspect of why they want to participate in this project. I for one fall under that category (self portrait coming soon). But I also appreciate that some individuals are truly gifted when it comes to their minds. They too will struggle with a world in which perhaps they are deemed to be different- whether that’s because they struggle with mental health issues or they just feel “odd” and not appreciated for what truly makes them feel alive. I want to be able to take all these reasons and create visuals about the people that represent that. Brains and bodies need to be celebrated.

What is the price of this project?

There is a cost to participate in the project and that is £390, this allows me to create a concept and dedicate a day of shooting just for you to make sure we capture that incredible artistic vision. Your session includes:

• Customised hair and professional make up

• Expert guided wardrobe styling

• Multiple locations depending on the stylistic route

• A bespoke photoshoot with full guidance on posing

• Beautiful prints, albums and wall arts to showcase your images

• Being part of The Proud Project photography book which will be a luxurious and inspiring book of incredible art and women (optional)

What images will be required for the photography book?

I will need a minimum of one image that best represents you and your story. As part of your session fee, one image is included. The image you choose may not be the one I decide to use in the photography book but I will never use an image without your consent and approval. The image you choose as part of your session fee will printed on fine art museum grade paper which will last a lifetime and the corresponding digital file will also delivered. Should you want the image turned into an incredible piece of wall art you can use your session fee towards the wall art costs.

Is there anything else required to be part of the coffee table book?

I will need your story in your words. It may require editing but nothing will be submitted without your approval. I want your story to be told alongside your image.

What if I don’t want to be published in a Photography book?

You can be part of this project and choose to not be part of the publication of a photography book.

What happens if I want more images then the one I get with my session fee?

You will have the opportunity to view your images from the session and should you want more than the one that comes as part of your session fee you will have that opportunity. Artwork can be purchased individually or as part of package. Your session fee can be used towards a package or towards wall art.

Will this project require nudity?

Nudity is not a pre exquisite at all. But for some people it is an important part of their story and narrative. My photography is very much about art and the nude body will be treated as such. I have worked with many clients who have included nudity into their sessions and at all times your comfort is paramount. What I will say is nude photography as a client can be a very liberating experience, but at no point will you ever be pressurised or forced to be photographed in a way that makes you uncomfortable.
