This photoshoot is for women looking to step into the shoes of a main Jane Austen character as we celebrate 250 years of the author.

It’s going to be quaint, charming and with a film like aesthetic that’ll rival the production of Pride and Prejudice hence the early start.

Think of it as your photoshoot book club- re-read the book or re-watch your favourite adaption to get into the Austen vibe with other like minded women as we embrace our inner Elizabeth Bennet… or maybe Jane… or Lydia… or Kitty… or Mary…

Romance is the theme here.

Happening on 18th May 2025.

It’s a session set near a babbling brook with an open field and a beautiful wooden bridge and the session will include 2 beautifully edited digital images from your fully guided session.

The group dynamic provides you with the support and wisdom you can only ever find amongst like minded women.

For the Pride and Prejudice session I’ll be bringing my copy of Jane Austen’s novel from 1890, some beautiful fresh flowers because what screams romance more than gorgeous flowers! And some fabric for those of you brave enough to recreate your own Darcy moment in the brook with the material covering you. The pink tulle gown will also make an appearance for running through the field images.

I suggest from your own personal collection to bring along:

A white/cream coloured dress- (long and/or short- H&M have some great linen dresses in at the moment for £20). Anything floral works for Austen related styling too, as do pastel colours and neutral colours which will work with the landscape. Hair accessories will be more heavily appreciated- whether that’s styling your hair naturally or with loose tendrils possibly using a bow clip in your hair; or mixing up all the styles! Bikini bottoms if you want to get into the water. Your own copy of a Jane Austen book or special book with meaning to you.
