There’s a real magical feel around bluebells isn’t there? It’s not just the folklore, but it’s the abundance when you find them while knowing that they also have such a short flowering life when they appear so strong and magnificent. There’s nothing quite like a sea of bluebells.

It’s such a well respected woodland plant. They feel unique and limited. Which is why hosting bluebell photoshoots for women just hits in the right way.

There are countless photoshoots that photographers up and down the country host in the bluebells, but to be able to indulge that magical element with women who are ready to embrace their uniqueness just hits differently. The empowerment sessions I host in the bluebells just feel seductive and enchanting.

This session involved my clients setting an intention and working with that intention throughout the photoshoot. Personally for me, my intention was accepting that I want romance and beauty in my life going forwards and I don’t want to settle for anything less than that. Having gone through a separation, I’ve started to clarify what it is that I want out of life. And for me while I would be open to a new relationship one day, that relationship has to be able to give me the romance and beauty that I can give myself. The images represent the base level of my expectations if I’m to share my life with another person again.

I will without a doubt rehost the bluebell session in 2026.
